The Coffee Lounge

This room is available for hire, including the kitchen facilities if required.  Prices are  available by contacting: The Secretary, Ecclesfield Priory Players.

Above the auditorium on the second floor of the building is a large refreshments area.  Here members of the audience can relax during the interval and enjoy tea, coffee or soft drinks.

The Coffee Lounge is open every Saturday between 10.00am and 12 noon to provide refreshments for shoppers and it serves as a meeting place for local people.

Saturday mornings are a good time to visit the theatre as there are always EPP members present, who would be pleased to show you around, we are very proud of our theatre.

The Coffee Lounge houses our display of historic stage lighting instruments.  Stage lanterns from the early thirties through to the sixties are on display and do work.  See how spotlights have changed through the decades from large bulky inefficient units with huge glass bulbs through to small halogen spots in use on the stage today.
