Our next production
Cycles of plays telling bible stories are some of the earliest recorded forms of drama in the English theatre.  These miracle, or Mystery Plays enjoyed greatest popularity in the 13th and 14th centuries.
In the 1950's Britain 'rediscovered' the Mystery Play and they once again became popular.
Our production was set in  disused steelworks and was told by three groups of workers - labourers, working women and white collar workers.  These workers represent men and women throughout the ages throughout the world.  Men and women who work hard and without whom the ideas of the genius, the inventor, the researcher, the powerful would stay at just that - ideas.  They are the ordinary people - the common man.
